This fish n chips from a pub in Edinburgh was lousy. The batter was soft and the chips were greasy. So, not everyone in UK can whip up a mean fish-n-chip!

Blackpool, North-West England is the Mecca for good fish and chips. In fact the 'chippie' was invented here ;) Soft batter is terrible and over greasy chips the same. Good oil is essential.
